  1. Yeah I know exactly what you mean. That was the only drawback to this board. It was basically between the AsRock and the Asus P8P67 (REV 3.0). The Asus board has been getting alot of bad reviews though and since the 1155 board is fairly new I haven't seen a really strong choice yet. What board do you have?
  2. I'm finally building a new machine after several years and have compiled a list of parts for my new build. I'm fairly confident with everything that I picked out aside from the video card. I know that After Effects really doesn't care too much about the video card, but I want to get something that is fairly decent all around just incase I may want to jump over to Premiere for whatever reason. My use for the computer is going to be mostly limited to C4D and AE though. Anyways here is the tentative build. What do you guys think? Motherboard - ASRock P67 EXTREME4 (B3) CPU - Intel Core i5-2500K Hard Drive - Western Digital Caviar Black 750GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Video Card - GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Memory - G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 12GB (3 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
  3. Just tried it. Worked great! I can't believe I didn't think of that beforehand. Thanks.
  4. I am trying to make a molecule animation that looks just like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSiUWmjmTF4 How would I set up the scene so that when I move certain atoms that the bonds extend/contract and animate with it seamlessly? Any help is much appreciated.
  5. How is this type of effect achieved? I'm specifically referring to the morphing cube at the beginning. http://qubekonstrukt.com/motion/youth-week/
  6. Thanks for that. I guess that is just a common sense thing to do that eluded my brain. Would you also happen to know of a way to search for multiple files at one time in the import option. I know to use the import----->multiple files option to select multiple files at once, but how can I search from multiple files at once? Thanks.
  7. Hello all. I have a shortcut related question for AE CS3. I have to render 20+ projects a day. At the end of the day I throw all of the projects in the project folder space in AE. What i want to know.....is there a way to show or reveal only the comp inside of each folder instead of having to go down 20+ folders and expand each one manually and drag the comp into the render queue? Doing this daily gets tedious after a while and I'm hoping for some type of shortcut to alleviate it. Thanks.
  8. What is a good website for design inspiration? Motion and non-motion pieces are both welcomed. I am having a lack of ideas and need some of that good old inspiration to get my juices flowing. Thanks all.

  13. Hey guys I was just wondering what are some good magazines to subscribe to for mograph and post production related things. We already subscribe to Creativity and Post. Both are great. Are there any others that are better or are those the best? Thanks.
