  1. Set your dynamics shape to "Moving Mesh" for all tags. You'll find Shape under the Collision tab. Hope this helps.
  2. This post really helped! Check out the results:
  3. What kinds of things are going wrong that make it look bad?
  4. Wow, thank you mousel. Xplode seems to be the one that can break it up in the way I need it. I had no idea that there were that many different plugins. I had heard of Xbreaker and Destruction but those others are very cool as well.
  5. I found this great video on Vimeo of a ground shatter in Maya using PhysX. With how awesome the MoDynamics are there has to be a way to do this, right? I followed his directions and tried to create similar but the dynamic falloff he has going is the part that's missing. Any ideas?
  6. wow, I had no idea. That's so weird, I've tried it on several computers and it's a grab bag on which one it works on.. here's the direct link although the floatbox corrects the aspect ratio. I'll try to get a newer one on here. link
  7. Hey everybody. I go to the Art Intitutes in MN and I'm graduating in December in motion graphics. Please check out my reel and leave any and all comments. www.hadleyvisual.com
  8. Chase has a new credit card called the "Blueprint". Does anyone know who made the ad for this? It uses a bunch of tracking and has an excellent style to it.
  9. Awesome! I was hoping someone in the know would reply. I can't wait for the answer!
  10. Does anybody know? I've been searching the internet for a couple of days trying to find it for myself. If anything, their graphics are a great study on minimalism with the use of the cloner object in C4D. I do have a link to the type of mograph on the ESPN site but would like a high quality version to analyze if it exists. SportsNation Mograph Thanks, Jason www.hadleyvisual.com
  11. Yeah I did use Cinema. It's actually my first big project using the program. The ocean is made up of random and time effectors with a cloner. The look is created through use of global illumination. I love your idea on the project but I'm assigned to just the orange "Essential" flavor.
  12. Brand new user to this forum but have been following for a long time. I'm having a hard time deciding what to do with the oranges on the ship. A lot of the people that review it tell me that I need to change them to vitamin water bottles. I was wondering if you guys had any opinions as to what to do. This is a class-piece due next week and I want to get another render started ASAP. After this shot, the orange ocean turns into vitamin water and pulls out of the top of the bottle to rest in front with the slogan. Give me some of your feedback guys!!
