  1. Thanks guys this is exactly what I was looking for! Sorry for taking so long to reply.
  2. Thanks again Rovino, I have been playing around and nearly have exactly what I want apart from one small catch ... I would like the transition to go from the middle outwards. Under the "Flip Order" drop down there is no option for this. I have tried using the gradient option and have animated a white circle expanding on a black background but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas? I'm so close!
  3. Thanks Rovino I will check out the tutorial as I have never really played with Card Wipe.
  4. Thanks, Is there anywhere I can learn more about the valueAtTime(t)" Expression. I have no idea how to use it.
  5. Thanks, I just tried that null technique and while this did allow them to all rotate at once it did not create the fan look I am going for. The guitars are meant to stack on top of each other at the start and then fan out.
  6. Hey all, I was wandering if it is possible to animate objects in a path. I am trying to create an effect similar to this : As you can see the guitars have been cloned are are moving outwards on a circular path (slightly overlapping each other) Is this cloning effect possible in After Effects? Or would I have to use Cinema 4D and if so how? Hope to hear your thoughts, Harry
  7. Thanks florio I will check this out. I actually watched this a while ago when it was first released. I can't believe I forgot about it. Thanks again, Harry
  8. Hey all, I was wondering if anyone has any insight into how the rotating planes effect could be recreated in this NBA Package : https://vimeo.com/25248644 The effect starts at 6 seconds (it's very short) I have been playing around with the card dance effect in After Effects but I am not sure if this is the right direction. It could probably be done in Cinema too? Hope someone can help me out, Harry.
  9. Thanks again fro the help! I am having one last problem when animating the spline wrap "to" from 100% to 0%. I want the spline to appear from left to right, but when I change the value it is appearing from the centre to the sides. Thanks again so much for your help.
  10. Thanks Grundly, I am having one other issue to do with rendering the spline wrap. When I push "control + r" it renders fine but when I go to save the file with "shift + r" the spline wrap doesn't take effect and It renders just a flat plane. I have found a workaround that is I convert the Boole object and its contents into a polygon object but then I can't animate it. Any ideas?
  11. Thanks very much this explains it really well for me. The only thing I don't understand is what the "Symmetry Instance" is for. Could you explain? Thanks again
  12. Hey all, I am trying to create a Ribbon Banner that are seen in quite a lot of logos. The type of thing I mean can be found here : http://i.imgur.com/U5eYl.jpg I was wondering how I could create this in Cinema and then Animate it sweeping on and off. I have tried bending and deforming a plane buy to no avail. Hope someone can help me, Harry

  14. Thanks cabecinha, I managed to get rid of that extra piece of geometry. Now to animate it. I have tried using a spline wrap but I am not 100% I am doing it right. Do I have to make a spline the same path as the banner? Or could there be another way? I basically want build on from right to left and hold for a bit and then build off. Like a sweeping motion.
