  1. Hi I am not here to say anything about the quality or the level of expertise on this forum, in fact I think it's very high. I am not going to try to change peoples minds, some of you don't care, and some don't see the need. That is all fair, as it should be. I think we got of the wrong foot to begin with, and if that was my fault, I apologize. If some of you want to know more about what we actually are doing, the information is there, and contrary to popular belief is not "about feedback" and it is not a keeper of "portfolios". If that was the the intentioned biz model, we failed miserably. Again you are all talented people, nothing can detract from that. Tom MI
  2. As you may, or may not know, Modus Ingenium ran a trial of our services in November, 2009, using our networks, in all represented disciplines. We were looking for feedback, and we received a lot of useful information to work with, especially from this board, thank you very much. The feedback led us to change a few things and update the infrastructure with those changes in order to better service the artistic talent community. The biggest changes are as follows We are not going to waste your time too much. For those interested, please go to http://modusingenium.blogspot.com/2010/05/press-release-may-2010.html We did make a big change and added an advisory board with some high end professionals, take a look. http://www.modusingenium.com/advisory_board.html Thank you for your time MI
  3. Hi, Gents, We enjoy your comments. It is nice that you are coming out of the closet. Looks like you talk too much. Being afraid of showing your portfolio? Modus Ingenium is transparent. The work is visible. If you believe in your work, you are welcome to upload it. The magic is that Modus Ingenium is giving a chance to the real talent regardless of connections, academia and random bravado. And we are giving you a chance for free to join the real professionals. If you are still afraid, keep talking. There are 4 more days left. If you want to join later, you have to sacrifice one breakfast. or may be it is more important for some of you.
  4. Thank you. We apreciate your honesty. And if you found spelling misstakes, please let us know where. We are eager to rectify the misstakes. Some of the trouble I guess some cant see past, is that from a recruiter standpoint. They generaly dont care about your website, neither do they care about your portfolio UNTIL you satisfied other non "talent" criteria. How do we know? Myself and our team has over 20 years of experience each, in production, and hiring, from the industry. And our background spans Frank Lloyd Wright, Pixar, Disney, Lucas Art, The Olympic Games, CBS, NBC, CNN, BSG, 24, Starship Troopers, many tripple A games, and a lot more. As far as the design go, perhaps it's not the latest vogue, but it's focus is on the work of our clients and not us. We talk to recruiters and hiring managers every day, they do find it very useful to have pre-graded talent to choose from. Especialy when the format is honest, easy and straight forward. 9 our 10 times you are not going to be hired by another designer. Again, I am not trying to start a discussion, if you have no interrest, that is perfectly fine. This, like everything else in life is an oppertunity, nothing more, nothing less. Have a continuous great holiday. T
  5. This should clear it up. http://www.modusingenium.com/learn-more.html
  6. There is a difference. I doubt you can take the "critique" from here and actually use that to show the hiring manager at Pixar your worth. I am not saying peer critique isnt useful, cause it is. But that isnt what we are doing, not even close. T
