<p><span style="color:rgb(35,45,50);font-family:Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, Tahoma, sans-serif;font-size:15px;"> I've done compositing, rotoscoping, and matte generation work on 4 major featured films: "The Mechanic", "Drive Angry 3D", "Conan The Barbarian 2011", and "Trespass" ;  Which has brought about professional experience in stereoscopic, 2D, and 3D compositing as well as experience in a 300 team studio environment. I've had 10+ years experience of motion graphics, visual effects, and film/video. I was introduced to Cinema 4D r11, I'm a generalist in C4D which ranges from modeling, lighting, animation, architectural design, and particle simulation. Over the last 10 years, I've gained advanced knowledge of Adobe After effects, Foundry Nuke, Blackmagic (Eyeon) Fusion, and Cinema 4D. </span><span style="color:rgb(35,45,50);font-family:Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, Tahoma, sans-serif;font-size:15px;">Over the last 3 years, I've chosen to work for Non-Profit Organizations, It's been extremely fulfilling! I've worked on countless Promotional Videos, LED Content for multiple conferences which seated 10 thousand + people, Organization Testimony Videos, and much more! I even have experience in 72 hour video game competitions which we write, design, and code a video game! (I do all the design, coding is my thing, ha!) </span><span style="color:rgb(35,45,50);font-family:Arial, Helvetica, Verdana, Tahoma, sans-serif;font-size:15px;">I spend most of my free time doing 3D designs. Sometimes it's abstract and sometimes it's realism. I post all of my work on my Instagram. My username is BTJcreative. </span></p>
  1. Hey guys! I just started creating tutorials and hope to continue to share cool techniques in Software like After Effects and Cinema 4D. Check out my latest tutorial here: I only hope to get better with quality with each tutorial I create! If you have any feedback, would love to hear it! Thanks!
  2. That's a great question. I currently hold a full time Motion Graphics and Video Editor position for a non profit. Through this job I do 3D designs, Motion and VFX, and do film making and Edit. The description does stay true to what I do on a regular basis and I haven't really thought of how to condense all that down to 1 description, I guess on Instagram, it doesn't really matter. I'm not allowed to post work I do for the non profit on personal accounts so I guess having those descriptions doesn't really help the brand I'm trying to go for on instagram. I've changed my description to "USA based 3D artist and Motion Designer, Cinema 4d + Octane, DM for Inquires." Basically shortened it and made it simple and clear to what I'm posting. Thanks for taking the time to question that, it does help me as I never would have actually thought through it.
  3. Over the last 2 years I've been trying to learn Cinema 4d in my free time. I would say i'm mediocre at best but would love to get some good constructive criticism. I live in Missouri, so having a mentor in the 3d world is non existing! I would message various people on social media for critiques but no one actually replies! As of now, I don't have a website because I don't know how to create one, but for now I have all of my stuff on instagram.com/btjcreative. Please have a look and let me know what I can do to push myself to the next level. Whether you think my compositions could be better or my texturing could be better, anything! Thanks! Again, visit instagram.com/btjcreative for my work. (And no, I'm not trying to push you to like or follow, just looking for criticism, thanks!)
  4. thank you for the critizism! will try to investigate all the neccessary elements in your feedback, but as for vray, it is just out of budget for me. i just recently got into set design like 2 weeks ago and thought id give it a shot, but i dont know anything about this unit feature. maybe a quick tut? as for shreveport, i was born and raised and never lived anywhere else, i am a month away from moving to dallas though. hopefully business will boom! any tips on the move? thanks.. ps. its good to know there is another shreveportian on here lol, i dont know anybody from here that does this kind of stuff.
  5. please tell me what you think, i used cinema 4d and after effects, started modelling, texturing, and lighting on my own without reference or tutorials and ended up with this. http://www.flickr.com/photos/koluzion/6028004311/lightbox/
