  1. Maybe with Form (sphere) with some displacement to bring out the general shape. and then just pinpoint what those areas are. I really don't know.
  2. Numbers, or time... the link was there to show an example of data being used as an infographic. I want to be able to use trapcode to visualize data.
  3. Do you guys know how I can visualize data with trapcode. Or if not possible what other techniques could I use? Similar to this, but it would be in 3d and lense flare https://www.google.com/search?q=idn+data&client=safari&hl=en&prmd=nvi&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAgQ_AUoA2oVChMI8bP1jO_3xwIVS5QNCh37Hg88#imgrc=ry0ufdwH_r-i6M%3A Thanks a bunches.
  4. What do you guys think about this guy? thinking about buying it for 800$ from someone. Asus P9X79 Pro Motherboard Intel Core i7 3930k Six Core CPU @ 3.2Ghz (easily overclocks to 4.0Ghz+) Corsair H100 Liquid Cooling Antec Twelve Hundred Case Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) Quad Channel DDR3 2133 RAM eVGA Nvidia GTX 560 GPU Corsair TX750W Power Supply Corsair Force GS 240GB SSD Dual Noctua Case Fans LG UH12NS29 Blu Ray Rewriter Rosewill USB 3.0 Media Card Reader Windows 8.1
  5. Sweet man, thanks for the great response. Really appreciate it.
  6. Anybody ever done any geological animation using c4d? It's more scientific than creative. Basically i need to show erosion, from flat land masses to the formation of Bryce Canyon. What do you guys think? How could I get my land geo to retract so that an organic hole begins to form. And how could I get organic rock formations modeled?
  7. Which one for Mostly AE and occasional C4D, with more C4D and realflow use in the future? http://s13.postimg.org/yahco9o1j/Screen_Shot_2014_10_26_at_7_00_19_PM.png
  8. Friend of mine found this one... http://vimeo.com/69092086
  9. Hey everybody, need some reference of motion graphics involving real hands. Something like this, just to get ideas. As always, appreciate the help from fellow creatives!
  10. I think our industry lends itself to safely starting a small business. Work out of your house, with your own software, on your own computer. It's basically "You Incorporated" However, how do you land a big local client? How do you approach a local ad agency and ask to be considered next time they have an account that requires mograph? How do you actually get your studio name out there in the community?
  11. Hello to all! I'm new to motion graphics, I have decided that this is the career I want to pursue. I am about to graduate school and ready to start getting paid, well- hopefully :/ Anyways, less talk/ more showing. Please critique my first edit of my reel. http://loredomotiondesign.com/ - armando
