  1. maybe im not getting what you need, but why not just precomp the whole thing and time reverse the comp?
  2. Great as usual, im always looking forward to more of these, i enjoy them a lot. Inspirational yet funny stuff, Congrats and thanks for sharing this!
  3. This, i have always did this, i never get it when people say "SORRY IM RENDERING"
  4. +1 for suitcase fusion. last time i used avi was in windows 98 i guess.
  5. Cool thank for the advice, and all other suggestions people made here. For delivery or low res previews i use adobe media encoder and render h264 if i need alpha or send a high res render for delivery usually pick quicktime animation. i dont use the quicktime player at all on windows.
  6. im a pc guy since forever but i had worked on osx a couple of years, i prefer windows but there are 2 things that i wish to steal from mac. 1- being able to navigate folders in column view or twirl open folders and subfolders, thats just great and navigating folders in windows sucks. 2 - ability to mark files with color labels. another amazing and simple osx feature.

    Long time no see!

This forum was awesome pre c4d era. it was a mix of motion graphic with a sarcasm crash course. Still keep coming back, mostly by inertia / nostalgia, but still i find some good posts every now and then (binky and some other smart guys)
  8. if you have to do this for a real job, i would recomend the Drive! plugin for c4d, its amazing
  9. I stopped having the washed out look since i start using the AE h264 preset in cs6, and the h264 mp4 file in AME and i second Vozzz
  10. maybe convert a loop edge of the sphere into a spline and then use it to spline wrap your extrusion? of course you need subdivisions in the caps of the text
  11. I love this series of videos you have made, they're really enjoyable to watch keep em coming and thanks for doing them!
  12. awesome, wish i had that self discipline to do that congrats!
  13. Nice thread to remeber goog old days. it was good while it lasted. i remember getting all excited to move from classic graphic design to motion graphics mainly because i found this forum in 2004 or something.
  14. this is great, i love the way you put this togheter, really helpful and funny to watch too. great work, not surprised since i like to read your post when you comments other people reels. thanks and keep it up!
  15. cool! i'll take a look thank vozzz! offtopic: like button isnt working..
  16. well i guess im going to have to face it, Max is slowly dying, c4d is already the industry standard for mograph, but im still stuck in max. i ve used c4d a little, did tutorials, i love a lot of stuff (specially mograph module and ae integration) but something keeps holding me back to make the switch. i feel i could invest that time in getting better at max, or even ae, but i know im missing projects cause lots of gigs requires c4d. i remember when mograph.net wasnt an almost c4d forum! good old days ha! anybody here did the switch? being a long time max user? i want to read some stories to get the courage to start! at my age is kinda difficult to invest time going back to almost zero, but i think it might be worth it.
  17. i use it on my i72600k 4.5ghz 32gb ram. it slows down the ram previews, without mp they start inmediatly. i like that. it speeds up the renders but sometimes with some effects or just because it can crash even the most silly comp.
  18. i cant see the bar to scrub though the video neither adjust the volume, maybe you want to check your embed settings. maybe some other lazy people like me will watch it without sound because of that. Other than that, short and sweet reel
  19. nice reel dude, like it (girl in red dress hook me ha!) i like the track and the pacing, maybe there is too many shots of the tracking in the students (i think they re students) but just my opinion, good work
  20. thank you very much! yes, im far from being a webdesigner, just wanted an online portfolio. Glad you liked it!
  21. Hi there guys! long time no see, i want to share my new site please take a look, and thanks for watching! www.javiergirona.com Regards.

ok now im jealous, really strong reel, nice combination of 3d and traditional design skills. Looks really pro
  23. i agree with the videocopilot piece, besides that, i really like the overall style, simple, nice colors and animation. keep it up!
  24. Thank you very much Binky! i always read here your opinions about other's work and i respect your attention to detail, and overall design and motion sense to talk to people, so your post was a nice surprise! I have seen the funny edges in the intro, its an AA problem with vray, im working on it. Sure, i knew i should put the strongest moment right at the beginning, but when i was first starting the editing, i was unsure and could not decide wich piece would fit best. you´re right there too Editing is not one of my best assets, its get hard to get the timing and the mood right. i am more of a print graphic design background and still got problems with these stuff glad you like it! thanks again for the critique (sorry if my english is confussing, im from argentina)
