  1. Hello guys, I need to do a hair replacement of a person. I thought of doing it in cinema 4D. A few months / years ago there was a hair replacement cinemagraph tutorial in cinema 4D. The model was blond and if I'm not mistaken the background was white. I am looking for that tutorial, does anyone remember of that tutorial? If you don't know what I'm speaking about, can you guys link me to a nice hair replacement tutorial in Cinema 4D? Cheers
  2. Thank you guys for all the replies! I will add SSD for the main HD and a nvidia force 980gtx, and instead of gluing for a xeon I will go for a proper i7 with 8 cores, is basycly the same price, but a faster machine. Microdot, if you are rendering CD4 or any other 3D package you have this guys https://gb.rebusfarm.net/en/they are very nice and cheap, for AE normally I use https://www.rendercore.com, they also render CD4 Cheers

  5. Thanks a lot for your reply. I manage to keep it working, but the the step effector is not working at all, remove the tick from the scale and add 10 frames to the time ofset, and the efector is on the cloner effectors. I cache point the page turn, and update the xref in the main scene, but no delay on the pages Any suggestions? Cheers
  6. Hi there guys, I'm doing a page turn so I can animate a magazine opening. I use 2 methods one was - Mike the monkey method, and I manage to do a page turn, with the cloth method, but how can I add a more pages, to give a look of a magazine? - The other one was with bones and IK spline And both methods I manage to do a turn page, but now how can I add more pages to look like a magazine, and how can I add material to each page? But I need the page turn with the size 2599 x 3366px, how can I do it? I try Mike the monkey method and do not work, the page is to heavy and with the Bones and the IK spline I don't have a way to measure it. I will add all the 3 projects to the post so you see if you can help me or not https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B6oqSR4QfP6nNGVuZ0lhN2dQUms&usp=sharing Cheers

  8. I there Todd. Thanks for your reply. I dont want to crop, i do want to resize / convert a composition 1920X1080 16:9 into a 720X576 1:1 square render. Is this possible to do it without adding a new comp of 720X576? Thanks
  9. Hi there, I work a lot on full HD and sometime720s i need to resize the render on the output module, to 720X576 square, but when i do it, the aspect ratio changes, is no longer 1:1 but it is 1:35. to get 1:1 i must do a different format than 720X576. The way around i found it was adding a new comp and put the size i want. but i would like to do it by the output module. I recall thatb adobe change the size settings for the standart PAL and PAl DV on CS6 is these the reason that is no longer possible to do a resize on the output module? Cheers
  10. Thanks a lot!!!! This just help me a lot
  11. Hi Simon, Thanks for the reply. But how can i connect the result node to a null? I can only connect something to it (the result node) in expresso. See bellow i've made an example scene. I think it might be really easy to do it. But in stuck here http://www.sendspace.com/file/kjaxrb
  12. Hi guys is there a way to have the result node on the view of cinema 4d? If i drag to the viewport i have the just the node, but not the information of it, for that i have to go to the xpresso, and see it there. Is there a way to display this ninformation on the viewport? Thanks
  13. Yesterday, probably i did not explain my self right. I have a video that it is 3D Stereo in after effects and it is on anaglyth mode ( added a camera, second mouse button, camera, create stereo 3D rig ) and i have all set. But now how i render the left and right eye, with out the anaglyth look? Cause now in the main comp where is the Stereo 3D Controls, both comps are off ( that is normal) but when i enter in the both comps i notice that they are not offsseting as they supose to do ( or how it doing on the main comp) I notice that the left and right comp have been offset to left and right but the image is not moving, and if i the layers as 3D i will have a gap, and if i try to compensate the by incrising the size of the comp, the gap is even bigger. so I dont know how to do it. Can anyone help me? http://s3.postimg.org/7c8avd2sj/left.jpg http://s3.postimg.org/58xvnp2zn/right.jpg See the images above, so that you can understand better what im trying to explain. I have seen the link in http://www.livestrea...31-5a06ac59f780 of Colin Sebastyn's presentation at NAB this year, but his presentation is about Stereo in cinema 4d, not in after effects Thanks
