  1. Head over to my blog to check out the link to the new x.264 quicktime export codec. Its pretty nice. Fixes the washed out color problem that occurs with the h.264 codec. You can check a comparison on my blog. http://kevingabriel2...ad-win-mac.html There is a sweet new PC version for the Super v.2010 build.52. Much more stable and way less crashes. For the PC version, head to the bottom of the download page and find the link to download. Follow the instruction and ENJOY. A good tip is to make all the setting changes to the GUI and close the program. When you reopen the program all the changes will be there and it will be a breeze to render your files. Otherwise I have found that when you change settings and process a render you tend to get crashes.

  5. This is the first of a new series I am beginning. I am making my way through Thinking Particles and I plan to share what I learn along the way. As the title implies, this is a simple introduction to the basics. In this tutorial I will begin to walk you through the Thinking Particle system in Cinema4D. I will begin by comparing its structure to the standard particle emitter, and then walk you through a basic setup. As this series progresses, I hope to go more in depth and see what this system can do for us! I hope you enjoy! https://vimeo.com/45313158

  12. Howdy folks! I've been messing around with Realflow in the last few weeks. Nothing special, but I'm kinda proud of where my efforts are leading, in a way... Do I have to be worried about having used a famous logo/brand? It could go under the "spec work" category, right? Ok, I'm learning so I know by myself this is not perfect or spectacular but I'd like some good criticism from you fellas. Draw your swords cheers M.
  13. OK i have SSS turned on but there is no reason i can think of why it is flashing the texture on and off. Any thoughts? Same frames Render fine when i Preview them in editor window.
  14. Hi there, I just wanted to ask, is VRAY really worth the price? I'm not saying I want it, I've only recently started doing motion graphics, and would not spend that much on something motion graphics related, yet. But, for the people who have regular work from motion graphics, is VRAY really worth the price? I'm just curious is all. Thanks for your replies in advance. Eoin

  18. So I am trying to basically patch a specific part of a cloth I guess would be the easiest way to describe it. I have a cloth that I want parented to another cloth. So if the parent cloth moves a little in the specific area the child cloth is the child cloth would move basically in the same position as the parent is. Kind of how a patch is on a piece of clothing or a sticker on a piece of clothing. Is this possible to do in c4d? anyone know? Thanks Butler
  19. OK! Hey fellas... I modeled a dice...using a cube, and a bunch of sphere's...all placed disecting the geometry in the cube in their proper positions. Placed EVERYTHING into a Bool A-B...and as long as I have a solid material on the cube...I have my dice! the problem arises when I try and put a red transparent material onto the cube (ya know...like a REAL casino dice) i can see the cut outs of the other sphere's clear through the die... I know if it's transparent... I SHOULD be able to see the divits on the other sides...but this doesn't look quite right. If anyone has any lighting/compositing/material advice...I would greatly appreciate it. And since I'm a newbie...if anyone wants to let me know how to post some screen shots, I would be more than happy to do so just so you guys (and gals) could see how I have things set up. Merry Christmas! Greg http://Rescueskier1970.imgur.com/all/

  21. "99frames" - The Social Animation Project The 99frames project is designed to encourage people to try out the new CINEMA 4D R13 features. Since CINEMA 4D R13 is such a huge upgrade in terms of rendering, character animation and workflow, it’s almost a must in my opinion to get this project started. I really do invite everybody to this very first neosushi68 project, no matter which skill level you have. It simply doesn’t matter. It’s about having fun, learning and sharing your work with the world. To join the fun and find out more about this project, please visit: http://neosushi68.tumblr.com
