  1. Hey guys! I just finished this new 3d animated side project and thought about sending it over for y'all to take a look at :) I had a lot of fun putting it together! I’m a little scared sending it out into the world but, I thought I would give it a go and see what happens. That’s how everyone learns right? So, hopefully you have the time to take a look at it. Thanks for your time! Vimeo link: https://vimeo.com/315812004 Full project link: https://www.behance.net/gallery/75969173/BEYOND Project Details: Beyond is a side project I created to push myself creatively. I actually don’t really like sci-fi, or know too much about DC or the Marvel universe. Every year, I try to give myself one large side project to improve technically as well as in my storytelling skills. I saw that creating something from a source that already exists while using a look and feel I don’t feel comfortable using as a huge challenge. After some research and seeing the cool stuff people where doing online, I remember how much I loved the animated series Batman Beyond as a kid. That was the spark that led me to think, what if I created a “fake” trailer for a modern take on Batman Beyond while using subtle indications from the show? It was definitely challenging but with some small personal victories along the ride :) I hope you enjoy my work as much as I had creating and diving into this world! 11. When I teach Cinema 4D in person there's always one type of user I see the most, people doing motion graphics coming over from After Effects. Given they're already fairly technologically savvy, they don't want slow tutorials that try to teach them the basics. So, with that in mind I've made a new Cinema 4D R19 Crash Course tutorial set which skips over all the boring stuff you don't care about and just gets right on into it. https://www.3dfluff.com/video/crashcourse2/ The first 10 minutes is free but I can't keep doing these videos for free forever, so this one has a price tag i'm afraid ;-) But if you stick in the code "talktalk" I'll knock 25% off until the end of the week.
  12. I recently used C4D's hair system for a building projection (Norwich castle, UK) and I figured not enough people use what is one of Cinema's strongest tools. So, time for a video I think.

  17. Hey Everyone, We've just released an update CV-Import Image As v1.5 - a set of Cinema 4D plugins by Donovan Keith that dramatically speeds your ability to use images in your scene for everyday purposes. Version 1.5 offers some great new enhancements based on your suggestions! Plugins updates include: • Options Dialogs for CV-Import as Plane and CV-Import as Sprite. • Max Width and Max Height options allow you to choose whether images will be uniform in height or width. • Match Resolution makes it possible to bring in pixel-perfect designs layer by layer and ensure they will all match up. Perfect for fantasy user interfaces (FUI). • Image Sequence Detection means that you can import a giant directory of image sequences and have each properly interpreted as an animation on its own plane. • Ignore Image Sequences so that you can import sequentially named images (Cat01.jpg, Cat02.jpg, Cat03.jpg) as separate images instead of an animation. 19. Hi community, i recently coded a plugin mainly for my own use and finally decided to share it with you all I found the native C4D Stage Object to be quite unhandy when it comes to scene cuts between different scenes, lighting environments etc in the viewport. With this plugin you can add null objects under which you add your "scene content" and activate/deactivate them via the interface. If you add camera Nulls the Camera under the null gets automatically activated/deactivated. Let me know if you find this useful or if you find any bugs. I tested it on WIN/MAC R15-R17. I am also thinking about making a video tutorial. 123 Stage Greetings from Hamburg! Martin
