  1. http://www.deltawave...rapper_test.c4d Check out the c4d file. I'm wrapping a cloner object along a spline, and I get a gap that suddenly appears after f30. Anyone know why that happens? Thanks!
  2. Hey all, Using Cinema 4D I am trying to re create a ribbon type banner (an example of what I mean can be found here : http://i.imgur.com/k7zMU.jpg )The best way I could think about creating this simple shape in Cinema was to just use a plane and a Symmetry object, but I seem to be having trouble. Whenever I add the plane (that I have converted into a polygon object) to the symmetry object I get this extra continuous piece of geometry that appears, and I can't figure out why. Here is a picture of a before and after of me putting the plane into the symmetry object : http://i.imgur.com/cuZYQ.jpg Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can stop it? Or am I doing something terribly wrong and there might be an easier way to create this ribbon banner effect? My goal is to create the banner and animate it sweeping on and then off again from the right side to the left. Any tips and tricks in creating this effect would be greatly appreciated. Hope someone can help, Harry

  4. Hello helpers! I'm trying to do this dynamic animation thing where letters are attached to ropes and they get dropped to spell a word. I've got the drop part with the rope attached to the object and it seems to be working... mostly, my issue is that the letters don't collide to each other. I believe it's the whole xpresso thing where I told the object to follow the spline so it ignores object collisions. Is there any way I can get the object to dictate the dynamic aspects of the rope? I've tried something quickly but don't quite get Xpresso well enough to figure it out, and can't seem to attach a dynamic object to a spline, it just falls down leaving the spline behind. Thanks!
