  1. Hey guys! I just finished this new 3d animated side project and thought about sending it over for y'all to take a look at :) I had a lot of fun putting it together! I’m a little scared sending it out into the world but, I thought I would give it a go and see what happens. That’s how everyone learns right? So, hopefully you have the time to take a look at it. Thanks for your time! I actually don’t really like sci-fi, or know too much about DC or the Marvel universe. Every year, I try to give myself one large side project to improve technically as well as in my storytelling skills. I saw that creating something from a source that already exists while using a look and feel I don’t feel comfortable using as a huge challenge. After some research and seeing the cool stuff people where doing online, I remember how much I loved the animated series Batman Beyond as a kid. That was the spark that led me to think, what if I created a “fake” trailer for a modern take on Batman Beyond while using subtle indications from the show? It was definitely challenging but with some small personal victories along the ride :) I hope you enjoy my work as much as I had creating and diving into this world! Bus Ride - Animation

Hello Everyone! First time joining/posting on this community (welcome back!). I've been working on a larger project for quite some time, and wanted to test out some of the props. I built the scene in C4D, Substance Painter and Octane Render. Bit of compositing in AE as well. The tree models are sourced from https://darstellungsart.com/shop/ System Specs: (2x) 1080 TI's Render Time: ~40 min per/frame I've also included the project breakdown! And lastly, I've made the Utility Pole asset free to download and use for personal/commercial projects. https://gum.co/mSxZT Would love any feedback! Cheers, Aaron
  3. Dive into Octane 3's environments such as Fog, Smoke, & Fire. Learn about voxels and VDB files and see what they can do. In this tutorial you also get a look at how Brograph's new Luminous plugin will work with Octane 3.
