In this tutorial we'll learn how to projection map mountains that you create in Photoshop. We'll also venture into After Effects for a while to learn how to composite using the stuff you created in Cinema 4D. Of course, this is only an hour long tutorial. Once you learn the basics it's up to you to take the time and go the extra mile to realism. If you're interested in getting started with outdoor landscapes in Cinema 4D, this is for you. Pre-made assets for learning purposes only can be found at Brograph.com.

Here in Portland Oregon the Alberta Street Fair is a monthly event that lets artist strut. This projection mapping rig I setup makes use of plywood and a simple DJ truss. Simple, Portable. Best of all you can burn it if you need to stay warm.

I just wanted to share my first large scale custom projection mapping project. Henry V Events in Portland Oregon setup the surface and projector and they let me go to town. I definitely need to work with more 3D projection surfaces in the future.

Here is a projection mapping we just finished up for Mutemath's Odd Soul Tour. The entire animation was done in Cinema 4D and the video was projected onto the structure utilizing a Barco 14k Projector and Pandoras Box Media Server http://vimeo.com/35976606 http://www.rabbitholecreative.com
