Guest Sao_bento Report post Posted February 7, 2007 Can't go into too much detail though, the NDA is very strict. That means he can't disclose details about the budget for speedos. If nothing else, it'll make you appreciate the gi more.
SermonOfMockery 0 Report post Posted February 7, 2007 (edited) there's some details on bodog fight's TV deal over at http://mma.tv/TUF, pretty sure dave meltzer broke it a while ago. bodog, like the IFL, is doing a lot of things right, but is fighting a very tough battle against the UFC. i don't envy them. however, i do think that this is one instance in which motion graphics could make a big difference- MMA promotions succeed on the merits of their branding as much as they do on the merits of their fighters, so good graphics could actually play a big role here. make it happen spence! Guest spence Report post Posted February 7, 2007 Yeah, I'm pretty pleased with how the in show graphics are turning out (I'll post them next week as soon as the NDA is lifted). I have to say they aren't up to the caliber of spike TV's ultimate fighter commercials. But hell, the in show graphics for ultimate fighter look nothing like the commercials (ie they suck). That means he can't disclose details about the budget for speedos. If nothing else, it'll make you appreciate the gi more. Actually the thong cost outweighed the speedo cost by a ratio of 2 : 1. Lots of bodog girls around
