Object Matte Render in C4D

Recommended Posts

absofrutely.

apply compositing tags to each object you want a matte for and under the object buffer tab simply choose which layer you want to assign that object to. then in the multi-pass window you can select to render as many different object buffer layers as you wish (by selecting first object buffer then selecting a number matching what you chose in the compositing tag) and they will all render simultaneously.
