imcalledandy 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2009 So you get the crash when you click Ok or Cancel after setting your x264 settings? FCP crashed when I tried this. Temp Workaround - Export a Final Cut QuickTime and then use QuickTime Pro or Compressor.
jan 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2009 Yep It crashes as soon the codec window is closed. But if you only select x264 and don't touch touch anything it works fine. I'm not sure which framerate is taken into account, the one from FCP or the one by default inside the settings 29.97.
jan 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2010 It seems that this version doesn’t crash the host application : http://www003.upp.so-net.ne.jp/mycometg3/
jan 0 Report post Posted January 14, 2010 (edited) It seems it now produces Quicktimes that appear lighter in Quicktime player.(Source: tif sequence processed in Nuke). Can Someone confirm this? They do however look ok when played in VLC which is not the case of H264 produced by the h264 apple codec. Edited January 14, 2010 by jan
