Examples of 3d/2d Type in live environment

Recommended Posts

Does any one know any good examples or 3d or 2d type being used in a live environment? ANy help would be great!

Here's some tracking that I did a while back. It's all 2D type done in AE (the tracking was done with PFHoe Pro). It's not all dead on, but there are a few shots that I think are pretty tight. This is just a big string out of all the shots I worked on...in no particular order. Is this the kind of thing you're looking for?

David Fincher's Panic Room has a title sequence using (3D) type:

Of course there's a lot of stuff scattered through Fight Club as well - the Ikea catalog stuff.

I think Rob Chiu did a live action version of that effect (if you want some slightly different approaches) for the 2009 FOTB conference.

Apologies for crap youtube quality, I couldn't be arsed to look for a decent vimeo link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxAakSnr4ek
