parazoomCAM [settings]

Recommended Posts

Want to render "pixel correct" using a Parallel camera in Cinema?

(So one unit is equal to one pixel)

The relation for width and zoom for a parallel camera seems to be:

zoom = 1/width*1024.

Using a Rectangle spline as reference you can add a coffee tag

to a camera with the following(Width parameter of the spline sets zoom):

main(doc,op)
{
var width = doc->FindObject("Rectangle")#PRIM_RECTANGLE_WIDTH;
op#CAMERA_ZOOM = 1/width*1024;
}

Using render settings to set zoom add this to a coffeetag on a camera.

(Cinema R11 only):

main(doc,op)
{
var width = renderdata()#RDATA_XRES_VIRTUAL;
op#CAMERA_ZOOM = 1/width*1024;
}

Or simply type 1/thewidthyouwant*1024 into the Zoom field of a

Parallel (or Top,Right etc) Camera.

Linked a R11 scene example.

Hope this helps for your "Flat" renders! :)

Cheers
