I have a buddy of mine who builds big walk in refrigeration systems, and he was able to send me a .dwg file from his computer/Archicad software. i can't seem, for the life of me to get it to import...I get "file cannot be read" issue. Is there something I need to do like move a plugin or set something differently in my prefs? I know the file is fine...it's a live job of his. Any help would be greatly appreciated! destro 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2012 There's a plugin for Archicad that can export in C4D format. I had a job recently exported from Archicad in C4D format that opened up fine. Not sure if it's free or not. You could also ask your friend to export some different file formats. DXF or OBJ usually work OK but the textures will probably be lost.
