Quantel Paintbox demo - 1990

Zip drives? Seems too modern. I remember some sort of optical disc cartridges for backing stuff up. (not to say there was never a zip /Quantel connection, just that it was after my time). Quantel wasn't too cool about acknowledging the existence of other products - kinda like the way Avid would invalidate your service contract if you didn't buy their hard drives (which were just seagate drives in an enclosure with and Avid logo on it) at $1000 over market price. Die black box manufacturers! Die!

Wow. Glad to say this was well before my time. I can't imagine trying to deal with such machines. I'm sure some kid 15 years from now will poo-poo on everything I know now though.

A fine tool for 'doctoring' with images and exterminating blemishes. With this tool you really are the master.

A cyberman if you will. Marvelous.

Looks a bit wibbly-wobbly to me.
