Time offset multiple step effectors

Recommended Posts

Hey ya'll,

So i'm racking my brain here. I'm trying to use multiple step effectors to offset my animation.

but as soon as I add another step effector it either only effects one row or nothing at all. Just wanting

to use the time offset parameter.

I basically am going to have multiple rows of servers that I'll be animating on and want to offset

the stack and the row.

thnx!

Thanks Mylenium.

I ended up just key framing each server and then offsetting the keyframes. Then applied the step effector to to a cloner object to offset the row of servers.

That's very good to know.

On this note another question if anyone knows. I'm finding when using a step effector on a cloner object then toggling off render instances for the time offset that everything become dead slow. viewport, render etc. Specifically i I'm using spline wrap under a cloner object.

Any tips to speed this up? Or am I stuck in the mud here?

Thanks!!
