monovich 0 Report post Posted September 6, 2013 Howdy. I'm rendering some stuff from 3d and comping in AE. I tend to start comping before the 3d render is done. In older (CS5) versions of AE this was never a problem, but now that I've upgraded to CC I get this error all the time and it interrupts EVERYTHING including ram previews or test renders. It halts everything unless I click "ok". I KNOW that there are frames missing and I don't care. Can I make the error just go away or make AE stop checking the sequence? gracias. ChrisC 2 Report post Posted September 6, 2013 Drove me up the farking wall in CS6. Thankfully CC has an option, in Input - 'Report Missing Frames'.
Todd Kopriva 0 Report post Posted September 7, 2013 from the list of what's new and changed in After Effects CC (12.0): "If you had missing frames in an image sequence, previous versions of After Effects would say something like this “After Effects warning: The sequence has 3 missing frames.” In After Effects CC, the message is much more useful: “After Effects warning: Animal[1-6].psd is missing 3 frames (2, 4-5).” Also, there is now a preference, Report Missing Frames, that allows you to turn this warning off if it is annoying."
