Cloner colours

Recommended Posts

Theres a whole heap of ways to do this sort of thing. The simplest i'd say is create a new shader, in the colour channel choose mograph->multi-shader. Inside that add as many slots as you like setting each texture slot to a colour shader and set your colours there. At the top change your mode to index ratio

Another way which i use the most often is the following

Set your cloner colour to black (in the cloner transform tab). Add a random effector set to colour mode (or any effector you like) to give you random colours. Now create a shader and in the colour texture slot put in a colorizer. Inside the colourizer shader put a mograph colour shader into the texture slot and then set your gradient below to the colours you want to use. Don't forget to set your knot type to no interpolation if you don't want the colours blended.

Put the shader on your cloner

Hope that makes sense
