Guest zaxwerks

greetings..

i've seen a lot of mastermind work here..brilliance stuff..and i was wondering how can people achieve such as outstanding results..off course creativity goes above all else...

and what i'm asking is what kind of tools/weapon do people use to create some excellence motion graphics...after effects.3d software or else...?

thanks in advance.

Well, this should cover most people

Platform: PC/Mac/Linux (Irix for you rich folks)

Vector: Illustrator/Freehand

Bitmap: Photoshop (Painter?)

Compositing: After Effects/Combustion/Digital Fusion/Shake (Flame for you rich folks)

Editing: Premiere/Avid DV Express/Final Cut Pro

3D: 3D Studio Max/Cinema 4D/Maya/XSI/Lightwave/Electric Image

Throw in a bunch of plug-ins, fonts, coffee (or in my case orange juice) and you pretty much have the practical side.

Ofcourse, all that means squat without knowing design, motion, having creativity, etc, etc.

3D Invigorator is a good plug-in for after effects

i think that's the real secret behind all the brillance and excellence.

damn, he tricked me into saying it. spammers are getting real smart these days. That's like a user named "adobe" asking if we could recommend a vector programme. With igor "the babbler" shmigor around an answer like "errrmm... how about .... illustrator???" is bound to come.
