Drawing Splines to specific nodes of a sphere in Cinema 4D

Hey guys,

 

I have a scene based around the Earth. The camera zooms out of a city and as it zooms out I want flight path lines sprouting from the city and landing in the major business cities of the world.

 

I was wondering if their was a way of setting bezier splines to start/end at specific nodes of a sphere. at the moment I'm placing the start and end point and just haphazardly adjusting the position until they're somewhere close to where I need.

 

Any advice would be great.

not positive, but guessing a good place to start is with a tracer object set to connect.

 

otherwise i think you could use some expresso to access the first and last points in your spline and link them to whatever you need.

I think StiffLips is looking for locational accuracy of the cities. Is that right?

There was a plugin for C4D that helped with that, I think it's called DEM Earth?
