Guest cameron101 Report post Posted February 10, 2004 I have a man scribbling into the air facing the camera. His scribbling becomes jumbled lines which in turn transform into legible text. I then need to apply the (Effect/Stylize/Brush Stroke) Effect to the line drawing/text layer to give it a chalk look. I tried using Vector Paint as it has a option to animate displacement of the text so that it animate from scribbled to legible. The problem I've found with Vector Paint is that you have to apply it to the source material thus eliminating the abillity to apply Brush Stroke to just the lines. My question is: Is there a way to use Vector Paint on a Solid Layer and still be able to apply the Brush Stroke Effect? If not is there another technique available to get the (scribbled to legible) look I want for my text? Any suggestions? :?:
Guest pixel_pimp Report post Posted February 10, 2004 After Effects 6 has a new plug-in that is under the "Render" effects menu, it's called "Scribble" i haven't played with it to much. But it seems to have start and end setting, might help in getting your effect to resolve better.
