Guest Report post Posted August 31, 2004 Good intro tutorials for Maya. They have about half the tutorials as quicktime to view online. And each on is just about the same length as loading an average preview in After Effects. http://www.digital-tutors.com/digital_tutors/index.php
Guest igorschmigor Report post Posted September 6, 2004 you can also view them offline if you know how. No quicktime is safe from igorshmigor, so here comes how to find out the URL for the movies: Let's say you go to maya > rendering then the first part of the URL will be http://www.digital-tutors.com/dtv_/maya/rendering/ then when you hold your mouse-cursor over the quicktime link you'll see something like: http://www.digital-tutors.com/digital_tuto....php?videoX=222 Take the number at the end, in this case 222 and at it to your URL like this: 222/222.mov so the complete URL would be http://www.digital-tutors.com/dtv_/maya/re...ing/222/222.mov hmm, i wonder if the digital-tutors mind me telling you this. Guest igorschmigor Report post Posted October 12, 2004 (edited) at 5ds.com they now have started a series of mograph-tutorials. They use Maya, Max and After Effects You'll find the tutorials at the top of this page: http://www.cg98.cn/salon/forumdisplay.php?...?s=&forumid=126 It's all in chinese, but they have plenty of screenshots and with the help of babelfish (babelfish.altavista.com) you'll be able to guess what they're talking about.
