Guest jeanorama Report post Posted July 4, 2006 I'm getting beautiful results the Epson R1800. It's an affordable archival printer - supposedly prints will last over a lifetime. I use this for combining digital with paint and fine art printing, like etching and woodcutting. Colors are fantastic on Arches fine art paper.

Guest faustfire Report post Posted July 4, 2006 Epson is really the only brand of printer ive ever had good results from. It seems like every HP printer I have had access to has always had some type of paper feed problem. I have a epson photo 1200 that is 6 or 7 years old and still prints like a champ, even after mostly using generic inks.
Guest jeanorama Report post Posted July 5, 2006 (edited) Yeah, we have an HP at work that has been out for months. One thing that I especially like with this printer is that on this paper, the colors have a muted, watercolor quality.
