So, I'd like to get a 'best of 2007' going. What animated piece of design wowed you the most this year?

Post no more than 3 pieces that you think were the very best this year, preferably with links to viewable versions. We'll throw the top 10 in a poll and somewhere in the beginning of januari we'll have a vote-off.

Please keep the non-submission comments to a minimum and don't spam your own work.

Two here.

Audi Rythm of lines - lyn Fox directs The Mill

I think this is a good representation of graphics that feel alive.

The Hours - Jonas odel for Nexus Productions

the lack of camera moves is nice and busby berkeley esq choreography is cool.

Awesome concept (thanks BBDO?), beautifully realized.

Oh oh - sounds like someone's got a case of the Adbuster confusion.

Although it's really nine pieces, I'm going to say Psst! Pass It On 2.

http://psstpassiton.com/

I agree on Lantern Fishes...great piece.

http://www.adamgault...ernfish_01.html

Also, DK's "The Company" titles (I would nominate DK as studio of the year)

Adam Gault: Lantern Fishes (i don't really need to explain this one do I?)

DVein + Diesel: Holographic Fashion Show (for creating what I saw as a ground breaking concept)

I'll be back to post my third pick... gotta think about this one for a bit.

our 2007 picks are the best examples of what's new and exciting about the Web right now. Here we honor sites with exceptional style and smarts, sites that offer new and improved ways to access and share content, generate our own and otherwise enrich the online (and off-line) experience. What do you think of our choices? Take our poll and let us know.

Very nice post with a ton of informative information. I really appreciate the fact that you approach these topics from a stand point of knowledge and information
instead of the typical “I think” mentality that you see so much on the internet these days.
