How to make animation like this...

Hi, do you have any ideas how to create animation like this?
The main problem for me is the combination of revealing lines and 3D motion ...i simply have no idea how to approach this. I know basics of 3DS max and i know very well After Effects.

Seems pretty straight forward. I would create my elements within C4D and then apply a Sketch & Toon to reveal off/on the line work. And maybe export a couple of null objects, so that you can apply a few shape layer animations for the various pattern animations.

 

EJ Hassenfratz at Eyedesyn usually has a lot of knowledge when it comes to this type of aesthetic.

thank you for replay!
Yestrday i had an idea to animate opacity of material (animation of ramp gradient - just strict BW, no grey) in 3DS max it seems to do the job of revealing.
