Yes- I've had 4 kernel panic's today in the past 3 hours. I'm on a brand new Quad G5, a new version of AE 7. I ran the updater yesterday, so I'm guessing that's the issue.

Works just fine for me on my G5 quad. I don't think I was always able to option-click to the desktop, but I tried it again (after installing the update earlier this week) and it works.
