We've been under a barrage of spam attacks lately, in case you haven't noticed. A lot of the policing has to be done manually, and the admins don't always have time to look through every new post, so if you come across anything spam-like DON'T CLICK ON IT - most of the links lately try to install software on your computer. Send a PM to Firemind or me, and we'll get it taken care of. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks Sao- manual membership activation may be an answer but I know it creates a ton more work for Admins/Mods.

Also please don't reply to the spam. I use the 'View Most Recent Posts' to find it, not having access to the Admin CP. If you reply, your reply becomes the most recent post, and you'll mask the spammer's name from me. So far, I've only seen one person reply to it, so this is almost a moot point. Thank you for your attention to this matter, and please continue as if your govindadmin wasn't here, which I ain't, much.

Hey just fyi, I got a PM from mignulikz and it was a link saying "Please Help" to a porn site. I'm sure it was an accident...and since I can't seem to find this person to respond in a helpful manner, I thought just maybe it was a spammer...they're getting more and more clever each day.

I got the same... but as soon as I hovered the link and it revealed a poopypants, I just assumed it was spam and deleted it.
If I would have known it was porn I would have clicked it!

I ban a spammer a week on average, but can only see spam in the public threads. If you're getting PM spam, let me know and I'll investigate.
