and i responded... umm it can only get better from how shitty it currently is....
and then one of my system drives failed and i didnt check after effects to see if it really fixes it or not...
its always one thing or another.. i swear... but "fixes third party issues" hopefully means after effects....

I agree with everything johnmont says, but I'm also wondering if it's time for something else to come along and unseat QuickTime for pro users. Something solid, stable, and consistent would be a nice change from the way Apple's taking us. I'm a pretty big Apple fan, but I think it's pretty obvious that something like the recent unpleasantness is bound to happen again.
