Oddly enough, I had a job come in about a month ago from a client that tried this, and thought it was way too canned and predictable.

I am not impressed by what I saw. I wouldn't worry. To me this is just a glorified slideshow presentation. It was boring to me.

Ah.... there you go! Nothing to worry about! ..... yet! lol! It's an evolving industry. I'm going into this knowing that in 5 years, I'm going to have to adapt to something new to keep up. Always evolving.

Don't diss UK design - some of the best in the world - e.g. this corker for a venerated political party, and no, they aren't short of money... (sorry embed won't work)

Just in case it slipped by- there was a tone of sarcasm in my comment. While this certainly isn't a professional tool I will absolutely use it the next time someone asks me to make their wedding slideshow.

Hahaha... Funny, I was just thinking that it could be good for that sort of thing. Consumers would be dazzled by this. I bet you this is also going to get a lot of use by kids in highschool who want to score that "A" for their history presentation.

-Seriously, I started on motion before switching to AE, there's only so much you can do with packaged presets.
I might start worrying when the computing power starts to equal the human mind...but, by the time that hits the consumer market, I will hopefully have retired

Well I read an article on Scientific American that says that computing power will begin to equal the human mind around 2050. I think we're good to go.

Well, then I guess I'm lucky I learned a decent profession before turning into an AE/ Adobe nerd. ;-)

Procedural programming = 9/10
Artistry = 0/10
...Sounds like something out of a herpes commercial where some lady is rock climbing or doing something else which symbolizes her independence, then out of nowhere she blurts out "I HAVE HERPES." The music gets all serious and you hear a voice over "...there is no cure," cue inspirational music "but treatment is available." Then it cuts to a shot of the bitch on a beach and a guy runs up behind her and puts his arms around her. Good job dumbass, you're dating a skank with herpes. - Maddox.
