and
www.xiiin.com (bandwidth killer, stunning 3d graphics for the interface)
just two of the more inspiring sites that i stumbled across lately.
i think some of the 80s pinball art is very inspiring. And Blaxploitation posters. Both deserve a revival (there already has been a little blaxploitation revival, bot i'm still hungry for it).

Click on 'skip intro' then 'illustrations'. Too bad his site kinda sucks, I own his book and it's great.

a guy working on a series of very sinister comics that he is making with maya. But it looks very painterly, not really like it was done with 3D. It all seems to be work in progress more or less, the creator (Jim Seize) is still looking for a publisher. The first comic isn't so good, but i like the one titled "preconcept". They all lack a good story, but are nice to look at. I'm usually not a big fan of dark, sinister art but this one still managed to attract my attention.

i only just discovered him today. he's been printed but offers his comic strips free online and there are more than 1350 (in words onethousandthreehundreadandfifty, can you believe it? Tatsuya is a comicmaking machine) already, a new one coming every day.
Not really inspiring stuff from the artistic side (not badly drawn at all, but typically comic-strippy, nothing we havn't seen yet), but i thought while we're talking of free online comics i might add it. Some of the stories are fun. A lot about religion, women and life in general, features some cute pets, has a bit of everything.

i didn't know Demian5 yet. it's nice. Please don't hold back with sites you thought we all knew already. With the overwhelming amount of stuff on the net we are all missing a lot of have-to-know-sites.
i guess most of you will know http://www.happytreefriends.com/. For those that don't: it's a series of flash movies, childrens style-cartoons, but teenage-humor.
http://www.preschoolprotocops.com/ well made flash cartoon, sort of Dexters lab-style
http://colometersdavis.com/ very nicely drawn comic, not new but one you shouldn't miss.
dog in a box with 2 wheels. See it at www.atomiccartoons.com. Click on samples and then on reel, click the right arrow, there it is. Or just click http://www.atomiccar...sh_dogpage.html
