AE Suicide: After Effects Crash Recovery

Hey Mac AE Users,

I have a little script and app that can help force an autosave when After Effects CS4 or CS5 locks up:

It's basically a shortcut for the technique outlined here:

We use it all the time in my office, I hope it works for you.

Nice! Thanks for sharing. If I have both CS4 and CS5 installed, will that cause a problem?

Shouldn't be a problem—the script just looks for any running After Effects instances and tries to force them to autosave. Even if they are each open, it will kill them both if you run it twice.
