He's quite guarded about the features shown though, nothing about birth options, movement, emitters etc - that could be due to wanting to a gradual tease, or perhaps it's not overly stable... Much as I love and (over)use Optical Flares, it's a bit of a crash-fest.

Then again its always easier to do that kind of work in 3d and comp in AE.
But then again it could be cool

What platform/version of AE do you use with optical flares? I don't have any problems with it... it's particular that is a real ballache for me, especially switching from CS3 to CS5 I have so many unopenable projects
It's the Mac interface I think that's the source of my woes - first the custom dialog starts getting twitchy, then it won't open, then AE crashes a few moments later - luckily I can easily spot it coming. Might just be my setup of course but the VC support forum has a few similar stories. Luckily the product is decent so you forgive a few rough edges

There is nothing wrong with what Video Co-pilot does. Lots of very well produced tutorials and mostly they are free.
If some kids want to fiddle with the Video Co-pilot AE projects and put them on their reel, that's not Kramers fault.

I believe this is going to set a new standard and will make motion graphics even easier to work with.

Element 3D is finally taking advantage of what videogames do since ages. In fact I am surprised no other plugins ever worked this way before, I always hoped for this to become true... I believe also Optical Flares uses the same technology. (Is that open GL?)
I believe this is going to set a new standard and will make motion graphics even easier to work with.
