- Render Technical Assistant

Software Requirements: Maya, Qube

Summary:

Support the studio rendering requirements during off hours by prioritizing element passes, monitoring the render farm and responding to issues related to rendering.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Review daily render requirements with lighting department
- Render queue management
- Troubleshoot any technical problems with render
- Work with systems department to ensure render farm is operating at expected efficiency
- Disk space management

Requirements:

- Working knowledge of Maya essential
- Working knowledge and/or experience with Qube render management software
- Must be proactive and able to learn quickly
- Attention to detail is crucial
- Knowledge of the various 3D lighting passes is an asset

Start Date: Monday August 22
Duration: 3 to 6 month contract
Salary: discussed during interview process
