Hi everyone,

It has been far too long since I've posted anything on Mograph.net - perhaps I've been using Twitter too much!

Anyway, I'll get to the point; I'd like to share the tutorials I've created for Cinema 4D and After Effects:

Subscribe to the tutorials channel - vimeo.com/channels/imcalledandytuts

I'm going to be adding tutorials:

a) When I find something interesting and useful to share

b) When I have enough time to create a polished tutorial

Let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions please get in touch!

Cheers,
Andy

Great Stuff! I like especially the range of topics! Maybe you can share more useful plug-ins / tools for "cinema 4d" and "after-effects"?

@daveglaz - Cool, thanks for checking them out!

@workflo - Nice avatar, kind of reminds me of the Weezer logo! I'll start thinking about a Form 2-based tutorial for the next one!

Tutorial 5 - Useful Scripts and Tips

http://vimeo.com/30851937

This is a follow on to Chris Schmidt's excellent tutorial on how he customises the interface to speed up working in Cinema 4D.

In this tutorial I show you my Python scripts for adding XPresso and Sound to Cinema quickly.

I'm still tweaking the sound script for 100% automation. Please feel free to open them up in the script editor and learn! If you have any suggestions, let me know.

UPDATE
I've made a slight update to Create Sound Null which copies the path of the file to the clipboard eliminating the cut step - just paste into the file field and hit return!

Thanks for watching,
Andy

I'd like to thank Rick Barrett from Maxon for helping me get started with Python scripting and for showing me some pointers at NAB.

In this tutorial, I will show you how to create a winter scene in Cinema 4D using the new Magic Snow plugin from Nitroman.

Part 1 focuses on using the Magic Snow plugin including some ways to customise it and working within its limitations.

Parts 2 and 3 are online now!

Part 2 focuses on modelling the 'hero' elements of our scene; the cabin, tree and log.

Part 3 focuses on texturing the 'hero' elements of our scene.

Thanks for watching,

Andy
