Overall though I did enjoy the piece and definitely think there were some good design decisions made on it.

the whole piece is great, but the ribbon was kinda out of place at times. But maybe thats what the client wanted. Maybe replace it with a propeller driven plan or a bird?
also the fact that the voice over only comes on at certain times kinda makes it startling to me. I think he needs to talk more. =)

1. the ribbon was already a major component of the existing campaign. Our job was to make it work.
2. the ribbon motif is cliched. However, a good bit of paying work is making cliches work, which i feel we did a fair job.
3. Budget & deadline restricted us from building an elaborate, large, cohesive '3D space' that you could just fly around in for the whole spot. It had to be 'moments' and 'hints' of a bigger space that didn't exist as one space. the ribbon helped us sell the moments.
4. VO- totally agree. Not our call on that.
