Hopefully someone can help because this has plagued me for a while. I'm trying to use Lumas plugged into a materials Luminance Channel to get some anisotropic specularity. It looks great as a still, but as soon as I move the camera, it starts to sizzle, as if the AA settings or scale settings are out of whack or something. I'm uploading an example video right now...

Does anyone have any tips or tricks for using Lumas in animation?

Decrease the "Amplitude" setting in the Lumas controls. This will smooth out the fine lines that are causing the chatter, with no render overhead.
