Hi All,
I am attempting to animate some abstract (simple) deer shapes for a project I'm working on.
I am attempting to go two routes.
1. Character Object Quadruped rig.
--I have limited success thus far.
2. Motion Capture (Preferred for its realism)
--The motion capture demos look really good, but I am at a loss as to how to even implement them.
--We purchased a deer walk and we received a .bip and .fbx files.
--The support said that C4D only accepts FBX files and I might need an autodesk plugin in order to import it?
---I open/merged the FBX file and it looked like it imported 3 different deer models
Actually, I just need to know how you go about properly importing and applying FBX mocap data to an existing rig.
There doesnt seem to be an in depth help area in the manual on this. I searched here and C4D Cafe and watched tutorials, so... now I ask!
I don't need to skin/bind to a mesh yet, I just need to play around and get an idea for how the animations will work.
Any help is much appreciated!
