MoGraph cloners that don't intersect?

It's the one with the spinning cubes. Spinning animation aside, I'm mainly trying to randomize the x/y size of the cubes, without them intersecting.
Going to be animating the z scale randomly (or semi-randomly), but I want the initial cubes to be random sized.
I've searched all over, but can't find anything online regarding mograph cloners and dynamics like this. I've tried adding rigid body tags, etc, but can't get anything to work.
Trying to get the basic animation done this week so we can have the animations by NAB.

OK, this has been covered in the past month twice in two threads I've seen, do a bit of research... There's several things you can do. One is Per Ander's Push Apart Effector (which may not work if the cubes are rotating), the second is Tools4D's Fit Effector (cheers Mylenium) and the third, which is what you've been trying to do, is the dynamic approach. You need to put the dynamics tag on the cloner itself, then set it to Collision>Inherit Tag> Apply Tag to Children and Individual Elements to All. You need to have an understanding of how to control dynamic clones for this to work - given that each clone inherits a position and orientation from its parent cloner, and that cloner's Effectors also have an influence on the coords of the clones, then how do you wrest control of the dynamics from the cloner/effector setup? Wellllll....
Dyn tag>Force>Follow Rotation (100) should make these dynamic non-intersecting clones react to the rotation effector.
I'm happy to help, but saying there's nothing about mograph cloners and dynamics is like saying it's a shame no-one has made a film about child soldiers in Africa. There is a shitload of mograph dynamics tutorials, if you're saying there isn't then maybe I should record one that people can follow.

Here's a scene that will show the importance of animating the Follow Position and Follow Rotation parameters when using dynamics. Note that any value above 0 will force the clones to begin to ignore the dynamics. You can enter negative values in the timeline of Follow Position to accelerate the dynamics too...

I understand most simple dynamics stuff, and I've seen the majority of the info on collisions and the such.
I'd love to discuss this more with you, do you have a chat protocol or IRC or anything? I don't wanna clutter up the forum.
I'll post a result and how I got there if people want.
