HI I am trying to get a house I modeled to curve onto a sphere

so that as the sphere turns the house turns with it and looks like its curved onto the surface

of the sphere

ive tried bend deformers and warp but they are not giving me the look i want

what other ways can you get geometry to curve onto something else?

thanks

You could try 2 Spline Wraps.

Something like:

NULL

   -HOUSE

   -Spline Wrap

   -Spline Wrap

Depends on what the house looks like, I guess?! As already suggested, Spline Wrap might do. If you need more control, try an FFD deformer or even better, a Mesh deformer. A few stacked Bend deformers might alos work, but may require some XPresso love to control their influence...

Aim constraint toward the sphere and a taper.

Aim constraint toward the sphere and a taper.

Simple, elegant solution. Nice one.
