Doubleday & Cartwright is looking for an animator to join our team in our new west coasts digs. College grad in an associated major; Motion graphics, Animation, design/digital media, etc… You are handy in After Effects and know your way around the Adobe Creative Suite. You love character animation and looking to evolve and grow as an animator working under our Motion Director. You are organized and take direction, but have ideas to bring to the table and experiment with different techniques. We do alot of cel animation and stay mostly in the 2D realm, we not a VFX company, we are into more traditional and/or vintage style of animation (see references below).
Design/Illustration skills a huge plus.
Editing skills also a big bonus.
Looking for someone to start June 1st.
