Mhh, he's worked on some big stuff.
I like how he gets really personal on his page. Like "I didn't go to artschool, in fact i barely graduated from highschool". It makes him appear like a very selfconfident, yet friendly and pleasant person.

I find the music on his reel a little annoying at times, with all that girl-yelling. But it has a nice dramatic feel and the reel is wonderfully edited to the music.

Yeah, pretty much just displacement maps. The shadows were just at a different angle from the reflections to give the icebergs some depth. Would have been a nightmare if Hydraulx didn't supply us with a matte for the all the icebergs.

Nothing new except the URL.

I've been busy/lazy. So I accidentally let my domain name expire and I'm in the process of getting it back up and running. In the meantime my site will be at joshnovak.tv

I may put some new work on there in the next few weeks, but again I'm busy/lazy.

Not as lazy or busy as usual, so I updated my reel and site.

I've also recently joined the freelance world, so hit me up if you want to put me to work.

are you using the .com link or .tv link?

JoshNovak.com doesnt work anymore, its a long story involving some guy in india that nabbed my domain name when the registration lapsed.

try JoshNovak.tv, should work

the updated one.
got it working first time, after that, not loading
but it looked great. seems like a couple people left PM for freelance life

When I try it from IE7 it doesn't work...just says "Waiting for ...//bigmanlittleman.com/work/v2..." down in the Status bar and a white page.

Not working from Firefox. Get the waiting for bigmanlittleman thing too. Can't wait to see it when it is up.
