It's all good, but "The Owl" is the what they posted about at Motionographer.
I realize there are a lot of bird theme animations floating around these days, but "the owl" was around before Psyop's HD stuff, etc.

Did I mention that he does all this in AE with the pen tool? No PS or Ill, 3D, etc.

finally, someone has outted his ass. he's also one of the very very few mographers amongst the very few human beings on the 2006 ADC young guns list... mega ultra prestige, seriously.

anyone else having problems getting it to load? I was hoping to share it at a meeting tomorrow morning, so if anyone knows of an alternate site that'd be great.

Personally, I've always felt weird about giving out the hearts. In this case, I've also worked with the guy, so I'm probably biased. Do you have a recommendation?

So you guys are telling me that the "compile" piece graphics were done with the god damn pen tool!!?!?!?
Cause it looks like some clean 3D with Final Gather/Ambient Oclussion to me.

Anyway, the guy stood next to me for 7 months and I never even saw him open Photoshop. - AE pen tool, 14hrs a day, everyday.
