Cinema 4D Performance

21 January 2013 - 11:25 PM

Hey everyone.

I want to upgrade my tower to improve my performance in Cinema 4D and was hoping someone here could steer me in the right direction. I currently have a 12 core 2.66 mac pro with 32 gigs of RAM and the stock graphics card. Over all the computer is great but I would like to improve the performance when working inside Cinema 4D. Not so much concerned with rendering but just being able to work with scenes and have the computer be super responsive.

Cheers and thanks for the help.

Random Bussiness Card Silkscreen Print

03 December 2012 - 05:33 PM

Hey Everyone.

I just wanted to share with you this really cool project. Tind is a printer based in Greece and has a project where he gets about 10 artists business card designs and then he randomly prints 200 copies. Each print is different. Different paper. Different inks. It's amazing. I was lucky enough to have my cards done in his last run. You can check it out here : http://www.behance.n...-Ver-20/6153949

If you need new business cards and looking to do something different. Definitely check him out and try to get on that list!

Cinema 4d R13 Xrefs

25 September 2012 - 02:47 PM

Morning.

I was working on a project awhile back in R13 and used Xrefs in one of the larger scenes. One day I opened up my master file and none of the Xrefs would link up. Luckily I had kicked off final renders the day before but it still bums me out that I can't get back in the file if I needed to.

I managed to relink everything but all of the positions were off which would make recreating the scene pretty painful.

I am wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem. If you found a solution. etc.

Cheers.
