Hey guys! I re-edit my reel thanks to your good feedback!!

Let me know what you think, it's the same video on vimeo I replaced the old one with this. So it's on top of the page still.

Feedback is welcome! :)

Cheers!

Thanks for the feedback Binky, really helpful !!

I got some really dynamic projects that I worked on last year along some really smart people that allow me to learn a lot and also gave me the chance to work on some nice pieces that I can't wait to put on my reel.

And yeah I get what you mean about the camera, I need to start putting some more dynamic to my personal shots that I do as experiments. Nice one!

I also agree with you, I gotta play a bit more with the audio - going to spend some more time on the editing as well.

Really good feedback, thanks for the time! Much appreciated.

I think Linkedin and Twitter are great to connect with people in the industry. Get in touch with the Creative Directors, etc.. of the agencies that you respect on Linkedin with a nice message. Personally I think it's all about being a nice guy, honest, believing and achieving.

Also share your work, get it out there with a nice reel.

Good luck!

In Topic: C4D Help - TV Screen Mapping

This is definitely possible to do. There are a few ways you could go about it. One way is to separate the video into the different screen segments in after effects or something.... but I'd probably look into using a projection mapping texture. You can use camera mapping to project one image across all the TV screens, but it won't show you the image that is in between the TV screens.... so I think I would just create a texture with the video as the image that I want to use and position it how I like for each screen.... since there is so much space in between each screen
Hopefully this makes sense?

I thought about the AE option, but i'm not sure how to make it with the C4D Projection mapping texture.

If the screens are one object connected together, you could make a selection tag and apply the video material directly to that selection. Make sure the material is set to flat and then use the materials selection tool to scale up or down.

The screens are separated objects. Might be a good option to try and make them just one single object yeah.
