  1. Thank you so much for your advice. I was getting very confused trying to combine AE's stereo rig with the output from Cinema but it looks like that isn't really necessary. Using a C4D light to place my flare is a genius idea! That's really the only effect I have to composite the rest is just solid layers. Thankyou again!
  2. Hey Everyone, I'm currently doing my first project involving stereoscopic 3D. In terms of animation and contents it's quite simple but I'm struggling to find info on how to take my stereo renders from Cinema and build a composition in AE that lets me composite more assets into the 3D space. I've built my scene and animated it in Cinema and am happy with the stereo effects in there. I now want to bring the scene in AE and add some flares and a couple of other elements in 3D space. I've discovered that the R13 AEC file doesn't export both left and right camera but I do have access to R14 so can get a complete AEC no problem. Where I am unsure is what to do with everything it imports into AE and how to set up my project? If anyone could shed any light for me that would be amazing? The AEC brings in a left eye comp that contains both cameras, the png sequence and any nulls then also brings in a right eye comp solely containing the right eye png sequence. So my question is how do I set up all these assets so that I can composite into the stereo 3D space? I've discovered the 'create stereo 3d rig' in after effects but don't know how to go about combining that with the Cinema Assets. I hope I've not rambled too much, any advice would be amazing!
  3. Hey, This sounds like a great idea, on the off chance you need yet another reel please feel free to use mine, Thanks!
  4. Sorry about the delay replying, I had to go to a wedding before I could get back to my computer. Thank you SO much for you amazing response though. It helped me a huge amount, I've got it all rigged and working on a walk cycle now! Thanks again!! Any way I can download the swf's for reference? Thanks again!
  5. Hi There, I'm having some trouble with DuIK which I'm using for the first time. I'm trying to animate a character by mainly using the puppet tool rather than lots of separate layers. I have the limbs done no problem but just can't work out how to do the body using puppet tool and link it all together. Here is an image of the character, http://i.imgur.com/2wgof2j.jpg So the whole 'sausage body' part is one image. Here is a link to the project if anyone could help shed some light on it, I've been on it for hours. I'll let you know if I crack it myself! https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1fbanbwrgqvxd9d/l0vklC4Izc Thanks in advance! *edit* sorry about the double post, it did an error so I refreshed!
